Clark Graham tells a good but skinny story...but you'll have to gloss over his need for a development editor. You'll find simple grammatical and some spelling errors. By "skinny" I mean it's without content that brings the scenes to life and dialogue that could truly fit the characters defined. But, yes this can be a good read... Graham is a promising author.
Not sure why I spent more money for the second book. I was hoping that the writing would have improved. My review from the first book holds true for this book as well. Disappointing on all accounts. Poor writing. Poor character development. Poor plot development. A lot still hinges upon the reader believing that Jack Warden has suddenly become a super cop. Hard to believe that everyone else in law enforcement is lacking basic deduction skills. Unfortunately, the entire story felt like an exercise in how "NOT" to write a mystery novel. Sorry.
This book was great!!!!! Where ever Jack goes there's bound to be trouble. The poor guy just can't seem to have a peaceful vacation. But leave it to Jack Warden, as he will catch the murderer every time.
Very well written. Enjoyed it very much. kept up a nice pace to keep you reading. Would recommend it for a quick read
